1. Thermal insulation

2. Absence of thermal bridges
This second topic is, to ensure that no thermal bridges are generated or in other words, weak points in the structure, through which heat is lost. Detecting and correcting these points is of vital importance if you want to achieve a Passive House.
3. High performance doors and windows
The third aspect to consider are the doors and windows, which are also very important in the envelope. We will have to use triple glazing and a correct installation that can save us from costly heat losses.

4. Airtightness

5. Ventilation with heat recovery
Finally, the last topic refers to the use of mechanical ventilation with high-performance heat recovery which allows to ventilate by recovering between 80 and 90% of the energy that is inside the building itself. Thanks to these methods, it is not necessary to open the windows to ventilate, and the air that enters the house is conditioned with the air that leaves it, avoiding unwanted heat, both input and output.
